2021 - Personal Project:

Isometric Character Controller

I've started work on a personal project I'm going to call Lier. The goal of the project is to learn and release a game sometime in the future. As for the player controller itself, I've created and designed the model, animation and systems. Up next is making the VFX For it.

2021 - Personal Project:

RealTime Waterfall VFX

Since my Capstone game, I've been looking to get into VFX and Technical Art. So I decided to use a challenge by Harry Alisavakis to start learning. I began by reading Joseph Gilland's Elemental Magic, an excellent book on the fundamentals of SFX. I have some plans in the future to start a project for the sake of learning some more!

 

2021 - GameJam:

Missing Pieces

Missing Pieces is a 2.5D adventure puzzle game where 'you', a small robot, falls into an abandoned factory. During your fall from the heavens, you have lost most of your circuit boards. It is now up to you to find the rest of your abilities and escape this factory.


Why?
Missing Pieces was made in less than 24 hours as part of the 48 hours Global Game Jam 2021 and based around the theme "Lost and Found".

2020 - Uni Capstone:

Soul Invasion

Soul Invasion is a story-driven strategic third-person shooter where the players use their enemies' power against them.

Soul Invasion was my university capstone project. I worked as a Programmer/Producer for the project, focusing mainly on the character systems.

2019 - Uni Project:

Captain Starlights Adventures

Captain Starlights Adventures is a game for children aged 4-6, aiming to teach them how to use a game controller. My team created a Wario-Ware inspired minigame challenge that teaches children all the necessary button presses to enjoy more complex games.

2018- Uni Project:

Whale Island

Tasked with creating a diorama, I made a whale island that is animated swimming through the ocean. This is one of my personal favourites where it comes to style, theme and overall aesthetic. 

2021 - Personal Project:

RealTime Eye VFX

This time for technically a challenge, The task was to "Make the default Sphere look hella sick" I decided to create an eye. I learnt a lot from this project, specifically about how simplicity is probably the best option. In the future, I should look at what the project needs and how I can make it as simple as possible. I added far too many features that I did not use because I thought they were a good idea.
