My personal goal for game jams is to try something new, whether it be Dependence, where I focused on story elements or Missing Pieces' focus on modeling.
Missing Pieces is a 2.5D adventure puzzle game where 'you', a small robot, falls into an abandoned factory. During your fall from the heavens, you have lost most of your circuit boards. It is now up to you to find the rest of your abilities and escape this factory.
Goals on the Project
Being my first project out of UNI, I wanted to switch up my roles to see how I'd fare in a space where I wasn't comfortable. So, for missing pieces, my role In the team was art and asset creation. I wanted to create a cohesive style that, at a glance, wouldn't have the traditional unity look. I feel I was successful in this And am very happy with how the game looks.
